What we collect
When you request the weekly brief, GovTechie collects the email address you submit and records confirmation through our email provider. The signup endpoint also processes limited request metadata, such as an IP address, to reduce abuse; it is converted to a keyed hash for short-lived rate limiting and is not added to the subscriber list.
How we use it
We use your email only to confirm your request, deliver the GovTechie brief, operate the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell subscriber information.
Service providers and retention
Resend processes confirmation and newsletter delivery on our behalf. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process ordinary request logs. We retain subscriber records while you remain subscribed and retain operational records only as needed for reliability, security, and legal compliance.
